You Don't Have to Be Photogenic to Be Photographed
That's my job.
"I'm just not photogenic."
I hear this a lot. Usually within minutes of meeting someone.
Here's the truth. Photogenic isn't a trait you're born with. It's a result. It comes from good light, good direction, and a photographer who knows what she's doing.
You don't need to be a chef to enjoy a great dinner. You just show up hungry. The chef handles the rest.
You show up. I handle the rest.
Myth 1: "I'm not photogenic."
Think of a lamp. A bare bulb in a dark room looks harsh. Put the same bulb behind a shade, and the whole room glows.
Light is everything. I shape it. I place it. I turn it toward what makes you look and feel like you.
Photogenic is my skill. Not your job.
Myth 2: "I don't know how to pose."
Nobody does. That's normal.
Picture ballroom dancing. The one leading guides every step. The other just moves.
I lead. I'll tell you where to put your hands, how to turn your shoulder, where to look. You follow. Simple.
Myth 3: "I need to lose weight first."
Waiting for the "right body" is like waiting for the perfect weather to go outside. It never comes. And you miss the day.
Your body is not a draft. It's not waiting for approval. It's the one you live in right now, and it deserves to be honored today.
Myth 4: "Boudoir is for someone else."
Not a partner. Not a wedding gift. Not an audience.
It's for you.
Think of it like a love letter, but you're both the writer and the reader.
Myth 5: "I'll feel awkward or exposed."
Most women do at first. Then something shifts.
We go slow. We start comfortable. The room is warm and private. You set the pace.
Black and white helps too. It strips away distractions. No color to compete. Just light, shape, and feeling. What's left is you, seen without shame.
The Bottom Line
You don't need to be ready for the camera.
You just need to be ready to be seen.
I'll take care of the rest.
